Katie's Update

So I did 'so so' this week. Do to some really crappy health stuff this week, I didn't exercise at all, but on the plus side, the antibiotics I went on were super strong and made me REAAALLLY sick, so I did lose 4 lbs. That counts, right?

So as far as calories go, I really did pretty darn good. (even with the puking) I kept under 1500. I didn't really do my WW, because Ive noticed my kids having not great reactions to sugar, and I don't want to put them on a 'diet', so I went back to a program I've been interested in, "Eating Clean". So it helps and keeps the kids energized, too. So I've got 5 pts. for that.

Addiction: Not awesome. I finally had to say no coke at all. Apparently I have ZERO willpower, so I had to cut it out. ALL out. (kind of have to to eat clean, anyway) 0 points.

Water: AWESOME!!! I bought a really cool new water jug, and as lame as that makes me sound, it WORKS. lol. Besides having to pee all the time, I feel SO good! 7 pts.

Habits: Meh. I haven't felt good, and I'm not very charitable to strangers (or anyone, really) when I'm sick. 0 pts.

Parenting/Relationships: I've done pretty good with this one!! it's been a struggle of mine to keep in mind how great my kids are when they're driving me nutso, but I'm giving myself 5 poitns for that this week. 5

Exercise. NADA. zip. zero. And then when I got on the elliptical this morning, the fact that I've been off for a bit was very obvious. 0 pts.

So not too good on points (17), but I am down 4 lbs.!! Here's hoping i keep it off!!

My 2 week update

So I have sucked at updateing...its not my fault I was just really busy last week and really did plan on updateing for the week before but crapy things happen ....



I am going to start off with the 30th to the 6th


I am going give my self a total of 17pts. (thats all I can remember )

I was at leas house and weighed myself and I lost 8lbs!!!! So I get my pts for that and I am giving myself pts for water because I did do that. And 3 pts for calories because I did ok most days but really did a good job on those days.



7th to the 13th

A big fat "0"!! I dont have a scale but I am sure I gained back all of the weight I lost. I had no time to do anything last week...




*My goals for the week of the 14th to the 21st



Weight: I am going to join WW, buy a scale, and get grocerys so we have healthy food on hand! I will be doing the points thing with WW

Addiction: No Soda! I got into the bad habbit of drinking a lot of this last week and need to get back to dinking none at all.



Water: I am keeping this the same 133oz

Habbits:I need to work on turning everything off and making time for things other than Army related. I am only going to work on "Army" stuff 2 hours a day and this weekend. I am going to clean my house, organize my room, finish all the laundry, clean the bathrooms, make a shopping list and GO shopping, sew some more diapers for wayde, and get everything ready for our trip and for my husband to come come.

Relatonships: We are going to sit down as a family and eat dinner every night this week.

Excersize: I am not going to lie I doubt I will have time for this at all this week. If we have another nice day I am going to take the kids on a walk.

POINTS!!

Alright ladies ... we have a *little* problem with the points -- everyone who is participating has not given points for both weeks? So I guess I need input -- I AM getting money for the competition for everyone, but not everyone is submitting their points, so we have a few options:
a) those who only have 1 week of points can submit their other weeks (to the best of their recollection) or
b) we re-vamp the terms of the competition. What do you all think? As it stands, here we are:

Week 2

I had a pretty good week as far as the diet goes.  I lost 2 lbs!!!  My SIL is loaning me her Body Bugg for the next few months.  It has really been an eye opener for me.  My water intake wasn't stellar.  I did about 5/7 days so 5 points.  I reached my calorie goals everyday.  7 points.  I only had one major sugar weakness day 6 points.  Going to bed, well I stunk at that one 3 points.  Parenting, I'm still working on the yelling.  I spent some time with each kid probably not enough.  4 points Exercise - 5 points.

Sucked it up.

BIG TIME. Had a super super crappy week. And so I felt like I deserved to indulge in pretty much whatever I want. I'm such a baby. I exercised once, ate whatever I wanted, lost ZERO pounds, and probably had like 3 ounces of water the WHOLE WEEK. Blech. So here we go. Starting over. The funny part about indulging is that you think that you really deserve it, but you end up feeling WORSE!? Right?! Whatever. I get 8 points this week (because I was nice to my kids -- and I may have been nice to someone else. Once. You really didn't want to know me this week). I'm working on a spreadsheet for points. So I'll post that tomorrow!! Hope everyone did better than me!!

Next week (this week)
THREE POUNDS
NO SODA!!!
Exercise FIVE days for at least 45 minutes
Get a babysitter (finally!!!) and get some 'me' time.

Week 2 Hartzell

I wont be posteing weekly goals because they will be the same each week unless i do decide to change one! This week i went snowboarding one day best excercise ever! 1 point lol! drank enough water every day so 7 points! almost have my addiction undercontrol! (finished) 4 points! Oakley has a great schedual me not so much and Aydens is starting to sort of fall in place! 4 points! Have only yelled once this whole week woot!!!! 6 points! bet ayden is happier about it lol! lost 1 lb! so 1 point hahaha! 23 points! woot!

a bad week

Well the first week, I did ok on the diet, but not so well in the other categories. I lost 4lbs, and I gave up some of the caffine each day, but I didn't exercize, and while I did sit and talk with Karen at a resturant two times, I did not teach her how to cook anything...I was just too tired at the end of the day. I earned 23 points total ... sad.

The second week, I didn't even post my goals because of many reasons. I didn't even try to diet, exercize, or anything else. I chose to use food as a comfort again....and while the popcorn and m&ms sure tasted good, they did not really help me to feel better. sigh. Thankfully, even though I was not watching what I was eating, I was able to maintain my loss from last week, so while I have to give myself 0 points, I am ok with it.

So here are my goals for week 3.
1. Weight -- I want to lose 2 more pounds
2.Addiction - I will continue working on my Diet Coke addiction...I will limit myself to two cans a day this week.
3.Water - I will drink 94oz each day
4.Habits - I will choose to substitute exercize and writing for my comfort this week.
5.Relationships -- I will make sure that my family and friends know how much I love and appreciate them.
6. Exercize -- I will choose to exercize 1/2 hour each day ... walking the halls at school, Wii (Lea, could I come Zumba with you one day?)
